The movie is based on one assumption: that one day the artificial intelligence beat the human beings. But even so, human beings are not destroyed entirely because the machines also need energy. That’s a horrible relationship. In our present world, we use the machines to create some energy. But in the movie, they use us to create energy. But that also reveals one thing: we couldn’t live right along without each other. With the rapid development of technology, we will be far more dependent on the intelligent machines. However I don’t think we should fear the future of artificial intelligence. As we know, human beings’ brain has extremely complex structure. No one yet uses the full potential of his brain and we hold extremely complex emotions too. I don’ think the conscious machines can deal with or even produce that emotion. It’s just beyond my imagination. In fact, I don’t think it’s possible to create truly conscious machines someday.
The Matrix may have something related to real situations: we live under the rule of our society‘s built systerms. And we are influenced by some values. But the difference here is that we can take part in making up the rules or improve it. So I don’t agree that the Matrix is a suitable metaphor.
Neo’s change of attitude in the movie may tell something about our will power. It seems that if you believe in yourself, you can see through the fake world and break it down. And obviously not everyone can make that so he is the ONE.
Neo is a guy who likes to control his life and believes in what he saw. So he chose to take the red pill. We own a feature that is born with everybody-curiosity. We tend to find the truth and we eager to live in real by the light of nature. It makes me think of a famous Chinese ancient story- “ZhuangZhou Dreamt of Butterfly”. ZhuangZhou is a ancient Chinese philosopher who once dreamt that he became a butterfly. And when he woke up, he can’t tell whether he was the butterfly who dreamt of ZhuangZhou or ZhuangZhou who dreamt of butterfly. Sometime we may all have the same question: what if the whole world is just another dream in another world? Would you choose to wake up?
About the last question, my answer is simple: if the realization of the real world could make me fly in the dream world, I would choose to take the red pill. I fancy about flying freely. 下载本文
