重点难点：

1.能够听、说、认读本课的目标语言。

2.能够在真实情境中灵活运用这些功能语句进行交际。

教具准备：

电脑、图片、PPT课件、教材配套光盘

教学过程：

Step 1: Warm-up

T: Is everyone here today?

S: No. A is not here.

T: Where is he/ she?

S: He/ She is ill.

T: What’s wrong with him/ her? Let’s call him/ her.

A: May I speak to Miss…?

T: This is Miss/ Mr/ Ms… speaking.

A: Good morning. Miss/ Mr / Ms…This is A. I’m ill today. I have a headache/ bad cold. I can’t go to school.

T: Don’t worry about your lessons. You should go to see a doctor. Take care of yourself.

A: Thank you.

Step 2: Presentation

1.Let’s look at the pictures of this lesson, then guess what they are talking about.

T: What’s wrong with Kate? How does she feel now?

Ss: Kate is ill.

T: How does Miss Liu feel? What kind of teacher is Miss Liu?

Ss: Miss Liu is kind, she’s a good teacher.

2.Watch the pictures, listen to the tape, then think about the questions.

(1)Is Kate go to school today?

No, she isn’t.

(2)What’s wrong with her?

She’s ill. She has a headache. She has a bad cold.

(3)What does Kate wrong about?

She’s afraid she can’t go to school. She worries about her lessons.
