I remember it’s one day in early Feb. that the notice posted in our community caught my eye, generally reading that volunteers qualified for inoculation (接种) of COVID-19 vaccines could sign up to the residential committee in response to the mass vaccination program. It’s said the vaccines have been approved for use in some countries as early as at the end of 2020. 

Initially, people aged between 18 and 59 are suitable in the very phases for the vaccination, excluding those during pregnancy or lactation (哺乳期), in the acute stage of a fever or infectious disease, with immune deficiency or immune disorder. Besides, those who are suffering from a malignant tumor, etc are listed as unsuitable.

Fortunately, insufficient though the clinical trial data are, now China also embarks on the mass vaccination program for the elderly in good condition according to the data, combined with feedback from previous vaccinations to monitor abnormality related to the vaccines.

我记得是2月初的某一天，我留意到小区贴的通知：大致是说为了响应（国家）全民疫苗接种计划，自愿且符合接种新冠疫苗条件的人，可以到居委会报名。据说，早在2020年底的时候，（新冠）疫苗就被批准投入使用了。

起初，适合接种疫苗的人群，那个时候是在18岁到59岁之间，不包括孕妇、哺乳期妇女、正处在发热、感染疾病急性期、患有免疫缺陷或免疫紊乱的人群，不适合接种人群还列有恶性肿瘤患者等。

幸运的是，虽然临床试验数据目前还不是很充分，但是结合先前为了监测与疫苗有关的异常反应而接种的疫苗所作的反馈，现在中国也开始了对身体状况好的老年人的疫苗接种计划。
