¡°Who is the traitor? The answer is the student who graduated from Tsinghua University and BeijingUniversity. Just because those students help foreigners to open up the market and our native enterprises were defeatedwith the knowledge learned from universities. ¡±Said ZhengQiang, the president of Guizhou University. As the top university ,TsinghuaUniversity and Beijing University have admitted the best student from China. Naturally the graduates would play an important role in our society.  Sothere is no doubt that ZhengQiang's  view is a shock to the education. Patriotism and knowledge, which is more important for us? Differentperson hold different perspectives.

Some person think patriotism is more important for everyone. Patriotism is defined as love of one's country. As a Chinese, we must love and contribute to our motherland. Science has no borders, but scientists have citizenship. Patriotism should be the most important criterion whatever we do. Working for foreigners means the royalty to country declined.

However, some people insist that pursuing knowledge and choosing working place are our freedom. If somebody could provide better studyingor working condition, going abroad or workingfor foreigners is insignificant. Patriotism couldn¡¯t limit the development of individuals. As far as I am concerned, ZhengQiang's view was rather extreme.下载本文
