As we all know, the environment  around us is getting worse and worse .In some places we can’t see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills. We can’t see the blue skies and the stars anymore.Some people even have no clean water to drink. So I think we must do something to protect the environment. what can we do to solve the pollution? I think,firstly,the government should educate the public,and let them fully realize the importance of the environmental protection,because there is only one the earth.The government also develop laws to make cars not pollute the environment and close down the factories that burn coal.We can also ask companies to use modern clean technology.In some big cities,we can limit the number of cars.Secondly,as common people,we can go to school or work on foot or by bike . Not only can it protect environment, but also it is good for our health. we can use cloth bags instead of plastic bags when shopping.and we should use both sides of the paper when we write .We should also never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms in order to save energy. Thirdly,as teenagers,I suggest we are supposed to do more volunteer work to clean up our cities.In a word ,if everyone pays more attention to our environment ,there will be less pollution and our life will be better.
