Textbook analysis This Period is the first lesson of Unit5.Go For It,students’book of Grade Eigt,the title is Do you want to watch a game show?Section A 1a-2c。The topic of this unit is about perferences about TV shows, such topic is related to daily life of students,so it is helpful to raise learning interset of students and it will be help to improve their spoken English.It introduces new vocabulary about the TV shows and talk about the perferences.
Students analysis The students have learned English for one year so far.The can understand some words and some simple sentences.The students have taken a great interest in English now.
But the students don’t have large vocabulary,they seldom communicate in English in normal times,they are lacking in listening and speaking skills and the gap of the students’knowledge level in the same class is quite wide.
