1.Oracle BIEE基础

1.1.安装BIEE

1.1.1.JDK要求

下载JDK1.5以上版本并安装，可从http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp下载。我用的是JDK1.6。

1.1.2.下载BIEE

可从OTN http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/index.html下载，也可从edelivery  http://edelivery.oracle.com下载。我用的是10.1.3.3.3。

1.1.3.安装BIEE

1、运行~\Server\\Oracle_Business_Intelligence\setup.exe

2、需要2.2G以上磁盘空间

3、选择Basic安装

4、选择Complete安装，或者选择Custom，可以看看到底安装了哪些组件

5、组件明细，重要的有BI Server、Admin Tool、Presentation Services、Job Manager、版BI Publisher

6、设置JDK目录和oc4jadmin密码（也设置为oc4jadmin）

7、设置服务账号，保留默认值LocalSystem，密码空

8、选择错误消息的语言，保留默认值English

9、正式开始安装前，会先安装.Net Framework2.0和VC++ 2005 redistributable

整个安装结束需要重启。

1.2.系统入口汇总

1.2.1.开始菜单

通过开始菜单，可以启动、停止OC4J服务，通过Welcome进入Application Server Control、Oracle BI Interactive Dashboards、Oracle BI Publisher管理端，进入Administrator Tools进行连接数据源和建模，进入Catalog Manager、Job Manager、ODBC Client。

1.2.2.系统服务

通过系统服务，可以启动、停止Oracle BI Cluster Controller、Oracle BI Java Host、Oracle BI Presentation Server、Oracle BI Scheduler、Oracle BI Server。

1.3.必要配置

1.3.1.配置后台NQSConfig.INI

路径：~\OracleBI\\server\\Config\\NQSConfig.INI。需要仔细阅读。先关注：

1、[ REPOSITORY ]配置，默认是个演示BI paint.rpd

Star        =    paint.rpd, DEFAULT;

2、[ CACHE ]配置，默认是启用，可以改为NO

ENABLE    =    YES;

3、[ SECURITY ]配置

MINIMUM_PASSWORD_LENGTH    =0;说明密码可以为空，没有最小长度控制

以上如果有修改，需要重启BI Server服务才能生效。

1.3.2.配置前台instanceconfig.xml

路径：~\\OracleBIData\\web\\config\\instanceconfig.xml。需要仔细阅读。先关注：

1、前台报表展现目录CatalogPath，默认是OracleBIData/web/catalog/

C:/OracleBIData/web/catalog/paint

1.3.3.初始账号

1、OC4J管理员：oc4jadmin/oc4jadmin

2、BI账号通过Admin Tools/Manager/Security管理

3、示例paint.rpd的管理员/密码：Administrator/Administrator。

Oracle BI Interactive Dashboards、Oracle BI Publisher也是用此账户进入。

1.4.先睹为快：浏览Demo paint

1.4.1.启动OC4J

N: 开始菜单/Oracle Business Intelligence/Start OC4J

1.4.2.打开paint.rpd

N:开始菜单/Oracle Business Intelligence/Administraton

打开C:\\OracleBI\\server\\Repository\\paint.rpd，密码是Administrator。

1.4.3.浏览paint.rpd

分三层： Physical、Business Model and Mapping、Presentation。

1.4.4.进入BIEE仪表盘

N:开始菜单/Oracle Business Intelligence/Administraton/Welcome to Oracle BI EE

1、点击Oracle BI Interactive Dashboards，用Administrator登录

2、可以看到区域分析的结果，真是漂亮！而且一个界面集成好多“报表”。

3、可以继续查看品、年份分析。

1.4.5.进入BIEE Answers

Answers是“做报表”的地方。初看比较复杂，后面章节将通过一个实例来讲述。

可以点击Modify进行修改。

在目标服务器上安装Oracle BIEE。

1、从源系统~\OracleBI\\server\\Repository下拷贝xxxxxx.rpd到目标系统

2、从源系统~\\OracleBIData\\web\\catalog下拷贝xxxxxx文件夹到目标系统

3、从源系统~\\OracleBI\\xmlp\\XMLP\\Reports下拷贝xxxxxx文件夹到目标系统

3.1.3.配置目标系统

1、停止所有BIEE的服务

2、修改~\OracleBI\\server\\Config\\NQSConfig.INI的 [ REPOSITORY ]下的Star属性为

Star        =    xxxxxx.rpd, DEFAULT;

3、启动所有BIEE的服务
