Here is a piece of news on TV. It is about a high school kid who is fighting for being allowed to take his service dog (服务犬) to school. The school is worried that the other students will watch the dog all the time and won’t listen to the teacher.

In my opinion, however, I think it would be a good learning experience for all the students. It would help to make the relationship between the blind child and his working dog better. When I was in the 9th grade, there was a blind student who came to school part-time. He was tutored (辅导) by our teacher twice a week and he usually brought his dog to school. It didn’t influence our studies. Even though in the beginning many of us felt there was something strange about the dog, soon the dog no longer seemed surprising or strange to us. In fact, when the boy took his dog to classes, he showed us how much his dog did for him.
