1. My View on Campus Love
People often have differing opinions when it comes to campus love. Some argue that it is a bittersweet experience that can bring pain and heartache. Others believe it to be a waste of time and resources. Yet, some see it as the epitome of romance, idealistically loving for the sake of love. As a college student, I don't entirely agree with either extreme.
On one hand, since we are now adults, we should learn to take responsibility for our actions. It's time to face the growing pains of life, including love. We should be brave in pursuing it, despite potential sorrows. On the other hand, love should not come at the expense of our studies. As students, our primary duty is to learn and prepare for our future careers. We must acquire the skills necessary to support ourselves. those who prioritize love over their education are not idealists but rather idle individuals!
In conclusion, campus love has its pros and cons. It may require a sacrifice, but if managed well, it can add color to one's life and teach us the essence of giving. Follow your heart's desires! Why not give it a try?
2. I Love Campus
My alma mater is a place where flowers bloom throughout the four seasons, competing in beauty. In spring, the peach and plum trees stand tall with vibrant colors. Their flowers cluster closely together, filling the air with a delicate fragrance.
Summer belongs to the roses, which come in various colors—red, pink, white, yellow, and more. Their forms are equally captivating—some proudly blooming, others showcasing their elegance.
As autumn blows in, the spider lilies become the stars of the campus, their bright red hue painting the quad. The sight is so mesmerizing that it's hard to look away.
With the harsh winter breeze, most flowers wither, but inside each classroom, violets continue to thrive. Their sturdy stems and purple leaves are adorned with delicate flowers, emitting an enticing aroma. It's as if they're defying the cold, demonstrating a resilient spirit.
I adore our campus and its flowers that grace every season. But more than that, I love the educators who nurture these blossoms!
3. I Love School
School is a place for learning, and everyone cherishes their own campus. I am deeply attached to our school.
Each morning, as we step into Xiguan Experimental No.2 Middle School, the vibrant sun bathes us in its warmth, and the gentle breeze greets us. The first sight that meets our eyes is the Sprouting Pond, a beautiful water feature. The pond features a semicircular flower bed made of marble, intersecting with another to form a "bud" shape, giving rise to its name. Two fountains grace the center, one jetting water in a straight line, the other in a parasol shape. Behind the pond stands a large wall with water cascading down, creating a refreshing clarity. The wall bears the character "source," reminding us to remember our roots.
In the center of the campus stands our classroom building, home to our class. With four stories and eight classrooms, this building, along with two others, forms a semicircular "f" shape. Here, we joyfully learn and grow.
To the west lies our playground, enclosed by black fences, except on the north side where an Olympic-themed wall stands. The west wall features student-drawn Olympic art. The playground boasts six red running tracks and a green football field, where our school's largest events are held.
Our school is also home to many other beautiful spots—the Lei Feng Pavilion, the Seeking Knowledge Garden, the bulletin boards, and more, all reflecting the beauty of our campus.
As young sprouts need sunlight and rain, so do we need the diligent educators who cultivate us. Our school is fortunate to have teachers like Li and Jiang, who selflessly dedicate themselves to their students. Like tender sprouts, we thrive under their care and guidance.
Ah, how I love our beautiful school!
