1. Today is Arbor Day, a day dedicated to tree planting and environmental awareness. Our class participated in a meaningful activity. All of our classmates gathered outside the school gate to plant flowers. We received the flower seeds from our teachers. First, we cleared the weeds and then dug small holes. After placing the seeds in the holes, we carefully watered them. Due to this activity, we realized that while work is tiring, it also brings joy. We have decided to tend to these flower seeds regularly. We hope to see the beautiful flowers soon.
2. Spring is the optimal season for tree planting. The process of planting trees should follow proper steps. The first step is to dig a hole large enough for the tree, but not too deep. The second step involves inserting a stake next to the hole and then placing the tree into the hole, tying it to the stake for support. The third step is to refill the hole with soil and then compact it firmly with our feet several times. Finally, we water the young tree because water is essential for its growth.
