I am at a loss for words to express my current emotions.
Today, I had the opportunity to visit a folk park. I once thought that by understanding the essentials of traditional arts like Peking Opera and Xiangtan Opera, and being familiar with most of what people consider Chinese culture, I could consider myself a qualified Chinese citizen. However, today I realized that I was mistaken. Everything before my eyes seemed to transport me back to the era when these traditions were prevalent.
Have you ever tried sugar figurines? Seeing them here made me realize that the ones I had as a child were rather crude. Have you heard of Cloisonné? I finally got to see what it looks like and learned about its production process. The workers put in a great deal of effort — they truly deserve our respect.
There were many other folk arts and cultural phenomena that I couldn't name, but they were all impressive. I truly enjoyed the feast for the eyes and sincerely recommend that all Chinese people visit to experience the culture of our ancestors.
