Good morning, everyone
It’s my honor to give you a report here. My theme of the speech is “the power of love”.
In the past few days, I saw a piece of news on the internet, which is about a boy’s story. The boy’s life was in danger because of cardiac failure. In the other city, a young man donated his heart after the death. So, two strangers were associated with each other because of the heart. As the heart can only survive a few hours in vitro, the airport which transported the heart took off in advance. And when the news was reported by the media, all of the netizens were praying for the boy.
This is a story filled with love, the power of love makes the boy’s life to be continue.
This reminds me of a sentence of love: if you help someone, and he helps another. At last, you will be the person who gets help. It is about the transmission of love. If you give the love to others, you will be rewarded in the end. That is the power of love.
When it comes up with love, everybody can say something. A proverb from Hugo says, “the sun would die if there were no love in this world”. Love shines the most beautiful light of humanity. Too often we take it as granted, but we should know love is a priceless gift we should cherish. But how to cherish the love? I have heard a saying: the quickest way to receive love is to give it; the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly; the best way to keep love is to give it wings.
It is important for us to learn to love as the first class in our life. Only when you know how to love then you will be a real man in this world. Love brings us warmth in the fearful coldness. Love brings us bright when life gets hard and dark. Love brings us confidence toward life when we are tired out and want to give up.
Love around us, it allows us to be more and do more than we could ever accomplish with its power. If we put our heart into our life, we can easily find where love is.
