公司老大推崇泰勒与德鲁克,偶尔会提到他们,然后目光就会转向我说,“学管理的小朋友,我说的对吧”?一阵心虚,泰勒——科学管理,还有点概念,德鲁克——现代管理学之父,对我而言,德鲁克只是个名词,关于他的主要的理论和观点,并没有什么印象。自惭形秽,为了对得起“学管理的小朋友”,我赶紧把手头的那些小说放一放,暂时抛开那些所谓的“对人生的感悟”,赶紧捡捡我的专业知识。
想了解德鲁克的思想,我想靠读一本书是完全不行的,所以首先是Google,然后是Wikipedia,MBA Lib……发现确实很多人在读德鲁克,也有很多的评论。但是网络带来知识传播便捷的同时,也不可避免的让以讹传讹变得无处不在。而让我一下子去读德鲁克39本(或41本)书,确实也不太现实,于是我搜集了我能够找得到的电子书,并当当了几本经典的书,《管理新现实》、《已经发生的未来》、《后资本主义社会》。我整理了德鲁克在出版这些书时所写的前言后序,而且惊喜地发现德鲁克经常在再版时结合当时情况的再序。然后我就开始读这些前沿后序来梳理德鲁克的思想与理论,尽管可能没有办法深刻理解,但对我而言或许足够。
所以呢,这次的读书笔记会有德鲁克一生所写的书的目录及其在网络中流行的评论,主要的还是我在读完他的前言后序之后的梳理.
The boss in the company considers Taylor and Drucker as the great masters in management, sometimes, he mentions them, and then turns to me, “girl in management is it right?” I feel guilty for I only remember that Drucker is the father of Modern Management, but I have no idea about why, and what’s his theory and points. For me, Drucker is no more than a famous professor who I don’t concern about. However, I majore in Management and study it for six years, and I never want to be jeered at for that. Surely, It would be better if I have learned before, I think, but it is never late for me to start now. Hence, I put the fictions aside, and go ahead for the Drucker’s books.
I don’t think I can learn Drucker’s essential ideas from a single book. The first step is Google, then the Wikipedia,MBA Lib……Through the internet, I find so many people are studying Drucker, and much more comments and reviews. However, when the internet brings the convenience for spreading the ideas, the internet also relays an erroneous message without cost, which makes me confused that who gets the points of Mr.Drucker. Obviously, it’s not very realistic for me to read all his 39 (maybe 41) books. But, I find my way. I search the e-books as many as possible on the internet, and buy some typical books on Dangdang, “The New Realities”, “Post-Capitalist Society”, “The future that has already happened”. Then I collect all the prefaces and epilogues of these books which were written by Prof. Drucker, and I am surprised to find that Prof. Drucker always wrote a new preface related to the background of that time when it was re-published. Then I read them to clarify Prof. Drucker’s ideas and theories, even though maybe it is a little bit superficial, and I believe it is a good way for me.
So, there will be the book list of Prof. Drucker with pop comments, and my understanding of Prof. Drucker’s idea after reading the prefaces and epilogues as follows.
