MY HOBBY: STAMP COLLECTING

It's an interesting story how stamp collection became one of my hobbies. I used to write letters to my friends and and then one day I noticed one stamp of a bird image which attracted me so much that I decided to collect it. After then, I began to pay attention to the stamps on my friends' letters.

There are several advantages of stamp collection. First of all, it can expand your knowledge. Various stamps symbolize a postcard of one place, revealing the local sceneries and customs. Or some series of stamps tell historical stories or significant events. Second, it gives you aesthetic pleasure.

I'm just an amateur in stamp collection. I still want to collect stamps through my friends' letters because I'd like to enjoy the double pleasure of hearing from friends as well as collecting beautiful stamps.

THE WAY TO SUCCESS

Everyone in the world hopes to achieve success for various reasons and by different means. Someone works hard to get his honest success like a horse while others play tricks to achieve that like a fox. But for me, I believe that diligence makes success.

In my opinion, diligence is the necessary way for you to reach the far shore of accomplishment and the only approach to transform your dreams into reality.

So, you must go all out to fight for your dreams. As a university student, diligence means you work hard and remain grounded in the knowledge learning as well as professional practice. It also means the persistant efforts rather than a brief period of enthusiasm in your study and career.

I WANT TO STUDY ABROAD

I want to study abroad and the following are my reasons from two main aspects:

Academic reasons. Studying abroad brings you a great opportunity to keep in touch with the leading edge of your field. It is also a good option for you to improve your comprehensive abilities since you put yourself in a totally new environment and much different education system compared to the domestic situations.     

Expansion of horizon. For example, you can widen your sights and richen your knowledge, and feel the exotic culture first-hand. What's more, you can instantly improve your foreign language since you've immersed yourself in the language environment all day.

There are also other benefits of studying abroad and I believe I can become more competitive after studying abroad.下载本文
