Rules of changing present participle and sentence structures.

Teaching methods: speaking and practicing methods, pairwork.

Teaching procedures:      

Step 1 Leading-in (4 minutes)

     Show students a short video What are you doing. 

Step 2 Clear learning aims. (2 minutes)

      Read and explain the learning aims to the whole class.

Step 3 Previewing feedback. (4 minutes)

1. Analyse the mistakes the students made.

2. Solve those mistakes.

Step 4 New knowledge teaching (11 minutes)

    1.Explaining the sentence structures of the present progressive tense.

    2. Let students know the regulation of the v-ing.

Step 5 Exploring Case (16minutes)

1.Group work. Students discuss the exercises on the learning paper.

2.Task allocation. Show students the task table.

3.Presentation and comments. Students present and comment the results of their discussions.

Step 6 A test of this class. (5 minutes)

Step 7 Summary and homework (3 minutes)

1. The class monitor sum up what they have learnt this class.
