教学目的与要求:
通过本课程的学习,使学生在通过学习《商务英语 I》掌握了一般常用商务英语知识的基础上,进一步掌握现代商务英语的口语和书面语的专业词汇、专门表达方式以及专用表达方法。本课程将通过大量训练,使学生掌握阅读和理解商务英语应用文献的基本技能,掌握商务英语写作的基本格式、基本方法和技巧,并具备应用所学商务英语知识进行国际商务谈判、演讲沟通的能力。本课程要求学生个人必须参加课堂听讲及参加课堂讨论,按照要求完成商务写作的课后作业;以团队的形式根据教师的要求完成一个团体任务,并将其以书面形式交给教师。

授课内容:
本课程主要围绕商务相关的主题来组织教学。教学的侧重点在商务英语语言能力的培养及应用。相关的主题有:如何撰写商务信函;如何进行商业调查;如何撰写商业报告;如何进行商务会谈;如何进行商务谈判;怎样理解企业文化;如何招募及激励员工;商业道德。同时还针对大三下学期学生的需要,加入求职面试英语的教学与模拟训练。
考核方式:
该课程的考核方式为考试。
成绩分布:
由平时成绩50%(其中考勤占10%,小测验占10%,作业占15%,课堂表现占15%)与期末书面考试成绩(50%)构成。

Objectives and Requirements:
This course aims to enable students to further grasp modern business English in spoken and written language, based on what they have learned from Business English I . With frequent and intensive training, students are expected to read and comprehend business-related literature, write in business formats, and be able to conduct international negotiations and deliver public speech. T Students are required to participate in in-class lecture and discussion, finish business writing homework according to lecturer’s instructions; complete a teamwork-based project and submit it to the lecturer.
Teaching Pattern
The course will be delivered jointly by lecturing, reading and group discussion. Some particular texts will be learned, a lot of supplementary reading materials will be assigned to the students, and they will be required to present short papers in business English regarding related topics.
