My Weekend
Last weekend, my classmates and I participated in a picking activity which left an unforgettable impression on me.
Located far away from the crowded city, the farm had wide varieties of fruit trees, whose branches were heavily laden with ripe and inviting fruit. Having been instructed by an enthusiastic farmer, we got down to picking with delight. Some students put ladders against the trees to pick those lovely fairies, while others were in charge of delivering them into baskets. Bathed in sunshine, everyone sang and laughed while picking, exhausted but fulfilled.
Looking back, I really appreciate the activity, for it offers us a precious opportunity to purify our souls from the stressful urban life. The activity has passed, but the world heavy with the scent of fruits will stay in my mind forever.下载本文
