A short article which I read recently in Harvard Business Review impressed me a lot. The article was written by Nitin Nohria(chairman of Harvard Business school) as a gift to those graduates who were going to step into society and carve their careers. As an expert on management, Nitin Nohria stressed that managing one's life is much more important than just managing one's career. After that, he offered three short yet profound tips on how to better manage one's life. The top one is finding interests in your career life and enjoying what you are doing, coming next is keeping a good relationship with your family and friends, the third is never leave your dream behind.
I have got to admit that these three tips teach me a lot and will surely come with me till the last moment of my life. People ,whatever nations they belong to, work for money these days but for what they are good at and interested in, money is all that drive them work day and night, while happiness in career life means nothing. As a result, quite a lot of them are under great pressure since they are unable to make achievement on what they are not good at. Happiness includes many elements and family I think is the priority, hence, a good with family members is definitely needed however rich you are. Family would silently affect one's mental life, you will never be happy when your parents end up with divorce, similarly, you will never have a good mood when your daughter's puppy love end up with being dumped. Of course, you will benefit a lot from a good relationship with your family. We tend to forget our dreams when we are busy as the famous saying goes" we walk so far that we even forget the reason why we set out". There is no doubt that our dreams drive us work hard, but sometimes hard work make us forget our dreams and even goes in the opposite direction. Always working for your dream and you will correspondingly gain much happiness, so always keeping dream in mind.
It is never too early to manage your life, isn't it?下载本文
