1. 现在进行时：表示现在（说话瞬间）正在进行或发生的动作。

标志词：now, Look！Listen! It’s…o’clock . at the moment, right now…

肯定句:主语+be+现在分词（主语在前be在后，现在分词跟着走。）

       eg: She is watching TV now.

否定句：主语+be+not+现在分词

       eg: She isn’t watching TV now.

一般疑问句:be+主语+现在分词

       eg: Is she watching TV now?

特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+be+主语+现在分词+其他?

       eg: What is she doing now?

2. 一般现在时：表示通常性、规律性、习惯性的状态或者动作。

标志词：always, usually, often, sometimes, never, every day/night/… in the moring…on weekends…

现在分词很好记，动词后缀-ing。直接加、去e加、双写加。还有一点要注意ie要用y来替。lielying (躺)

   1) 一般情况下，直接加ing，如：cook-----cooking

2）以不发音的e结尾，去e加ing，

eg：make----making    taste----tasting

3）如果末尾是一个元音字母和一个辅音字母，双写末尾的辅音字母，再加ing

eg：run-running   stop-stopping    sit-sitting    get-getting   forget-forgetting    begin-beginning

（4）以ie结尾的动词，改ie为y加ing ，如：

eg:  die--dying   lie--lying

4.短语

 read a newspaper = read newspapers     talk on the phone        make soup             swim in the pool

  listen to a CD = listen to CDs           go shopping            sound good

  wash the dishes = do the dishes         use the computer         play basketball at the school

go to the movies                     watch…on TV           read in the library

5.  what about doing sth. 用于提出建议，做点什么怎么样？

 = How about doing sth.

 = Why not do sth.

   eg:  What about going shopping?

      = How about going shopping?

      =Why not go shopping?

6. kind of 有些，有点  eg: It’s kind of hot.

  a kind of 一种….(表示种类) eg: Coffee is a kind of drink.

  all/many kinds of 各种各样的/多种多样的…（注意此时kind要加s， of 后接可数名词的复数形式）

eg: There are all kinds of books in school library.

7. 电话中打招呼： Hello! Hi!

电话中介绍自己：This is …(speaking)或 It is …(speaking).

 问对方是谁：Who is that ? 或 Is that …(speaking) ?

 希望跟谁通话： Could/May I speak to…? 

8. Not much = Nothing much没忙什么

9.  join sb. for sth. 和某人一起做某事

join sb. in doing sth.  

 eg: He will join us for dinner.（他将和我们一起吃晚饭。）

    He will join us in singing the song.(他将和我们一起唱这首歌。) 

10. live with sb. 和某人住在一起  live in +地名 住在某地

11. family 当家人（家庭成员）讲是复数，如：Zhu Hui’s family are at home.         

当家庭（整体）讲是单数，如：Jim’s family 

11. be like 像…一样  sound like 听上去像  look like 看上去像

12. any other + 可数名词单数  any other night / picture / singer…(任何其他的...)

   other 其他的，后接名词复数 Leave the chance to other students.

   others 另一些 At the party, some are singing, others are dancing.

   the others 剩下的全部At the party, some are singing, some are dancing, the others are eating.

   the other 两者中的另一个 I have two pens, one is red, the other is black.

16. What do you think of…? 你认为……怎么样？

  = How do you like…?

eg： What do you think of China?

=How do you like China?

think of 与 think about 表示考虑或者对…..有某种看法时可互换

think of 还有想起、想到、想出的意思  I think of a good iead.

17. talk on the phone to sb.= phone with sb.和某人通电话

   eg: She is talking on the phone to her sister.

     = She is phoning with her sister.

18. What time is it + now/in spl.?

  = What’s the time+ now/ in spl.?

   eg: What time is it in Beijing?= What’s the time in Beijing?

19. a photo of sb’s family 一张某人家庭的照片

   eg: Here is a photo of Tom’s family.

   注意区分a photo of me和a photo of mine

20. study + 学科 表学习什么   

eg: study English 学习英语   

study for sth. 表为了什么而学习

eg: study for the English test 为了英语考试而学习

   study for yourself为自己而学习
