    It has been a long time since I wrote to you last time becase I'm busy with my English. Yes, big surprise! I'm not afraid of English any more. In fact, I love it! In the past, I thought learning English was a donkey work that contained of grammers and words which I hated to recite. I thought I would never love this language in my life and I even din't want to talk with my classmates in English. But after chating with you last time, I gradully changed my mind. I am aware that, to learn Enlish, reciting is not as good as speaking. I love practising my spoken Enlish with my classmates and I often surf on the Internet reading Enlish articles. I made a big progress, didn't I? At last I want to thank you for your wisdom advice. Hope you enjoy your summer holiday.

    A seven day long holiday has flown away. Mourning my happy hours during the vacation, I've been looking forward to winter holidays. People around me seemed to have enjoyed the vacation, too. Then, is it fair that people have the same amount of holidays regardless of their occupations?  Nevertheless, divergent views emerge on the matter in question. Some people are of the opinion that laborers should have the same length of holiday. They hold the view that people are born equal and should be treated equally. The same amount of leisure time may eliminate the unfairness among people who might be upset psychologically if otherwise.  At first sight, it may seem to be an attractive idea, but it doesn't bear much analysis.  To begin with, people do different kinds of jobs featuring different labor intensity and so the time needed to refresh their physical condition varies. For example, blue collar workers may work longer hours before they get tired physically, while white collar workers such as doctors and teachers are more mentally stressed. Unable to work continuously as long as those physical labor workers, white collars need more time to pull through the mental weariness than physical tiredness.  All in all, people in different jobs assume different responsibilities and have different degrees of pressure.  Secondly, different tasks and duties are required for different professions, resulting in the variety of holiday periods for people in different walks of life.  Some employees cannot have their legal holidays and even have to work overtime, such as policemen, construction workers and people in the service line.Those professions just can't be interrupted for a mornent;other wise the society will be in a mess. Even for some people in the same occupation, they cannot have the same holidays entitled to them due to many factors out of human control, such as special assignments, and health conditions etc, then not to say people in different fields.  Suppose we, as teachers do, all have three months' holiday in a year.  Then factories have to employ considerably more workers because some of them are enjoying happy holiday.That's obviously against the principles of doing business at lower cost and efficiency.。

    My hometown has been great changed

    I used to live in a small town with trees all around. There was no tall building and the only street was narrow. Just outside the town, there was a river. You can see different kinds of fish swimming in the clear water. People here lived a simple life.

    Great changes have taken place here. You can see tall buildings, big department stores and factories everywhere. Different kinds of cars and buses are running in the big streets. But with the development of the industry, we have fewer trees. Air and water pollution is becoming more and more serious. We must do something to stop pollution and make our town even more beautiful.

    As we all know ,with the constant development of economy,

    our country is becoming more and more prosperous ,

    then The Project Hope has also been a success . There are four reasons .

    First , we live a happy , wealthy and healthy life nowdays, so we have much more money to support the charity.

    Second , The Project Hope as a important part of charity, more and more people began to pay attention to The Project Hope.

    Third , the media have a lot of power today . They can help those children by building a bridge that connect those children and philanthropists .

    Fourth , star effect. More and more stars begin to pay close attention to The Project Hope . They help those poor kids directly or indirectly . For example , the one foundation of Jet Li helped many people in need .

    So ,we can say that The Project Hope has been a success!

    Today is the day that I graduated from Seven Grade. During the time which I was not only happy also sad.In the class,my marks always the first ,and I also gain theachers' like.

    In addition,I feel myself also have many disadvantages.To these disadvantages ,I decide to change them.I belive I must succeed.

    Daniel Defoe (1660-1731) has been well known as the writer of Robinson Crusoe among readers of different generations all over the world. But this novel has often been taken as an adventure story by common readers, while critics usually emphasize its portrayal of the capitalist ambition during the beginning stage of the development of capitalism. Both groups of readers tend to overlook its religious, spiritual and moral aspects, which take up a large proportion of the novel. This thesis seeks to explore the conflicts and also the possibility of reconciliation between two important sides of human existence as expressed in Robinson Crusoe: man as an economic being and man as a spiritual being, and concludes that, only under proper spiritual guidance can man achieve due material civilization with economic prosperity, while retaining a wholesome individuality. Therefore, through his adventures Robinson is also undergoing a pilgrim's spiritual progress.丹尼尔笛福（1660 - 1731）已经众所周知的作家的《鲁宾逊漂流记》的读者不同代之间的世界各地。
