Welcome to our school. It’s great honor for me to receive you and introduce anything about our school. What I most want to introduce is that we held a science and technology festival last week, that has made the students interested in science. Students were asking to read a science book, see a science film, make a small invention and wrote an article about science. We had great fun or learned a lot. On my opinion, the science festival is no good for us. Only by develop science and technology can we make our country stronger and live a more comfortably life.

2.  I will never forget my teacher Miss Li, who is my English teacher when I was in high school. Miss Li was younger, pretty and kind-hearted. That is hard for me to describe how she was like. However, she really had her own personalities. She had us elect our monitor and decided where to go for an outing. Beside, she liked to have us solving problems by our own. And we made great progress quickly in our studies. It wasn’t long since the most of us behaved properly because we found her a good friend who we could depend.

3.    Music plays a important role in my life and listen to music is my favorite activity. Usually I preferred to express my feeling through music, and I like pop music best. I don’t like rock music because of I think it’s too noisily. When I am tired after studying or when I am nervous before exams, music helps me feel relaxing and fresh. I am not good at singing or I can play piano and the violin. In addition, I am fond of listening to foreign song in order to learn more about the cultures of different countries as well learning about the world better. Music makes your life more colorful.

4.  After graduate from college, I worked for a large company. During a team-building activity, all the participants(参加者) asked to describe who their heroes were and why. When it was their turn, I was a little embarrassing. My hero, neither famous nor wealthy, was just the ordinary shoe-shining man. One day while he was shining my shoes, I asked him for some questions about his life. He deeply impresses me with his kindness and friendly. I discovered that this man with his money earning from his hard work had successful put his five children through college.
