1. How often多久(一次)

How often do you exercise? 你多久锻炼一次身体？

How often does your mother go shopping? 你妈妈多久购一次物？

【区别】How often和How many times

① How often用来提问某个动作间隔多久发生一次，即询问动作发生的频率。通常对一些表示频率的副词进行提问；也可以对频度短语进行提问。

② How many times意思是“多少次”，是用来提问做某事的次数的，往往就once, twice, three times等词语进行提问。

典型例题：

1）Li Ming does his homework every day. （就划线部分提问）→

2）The old man went to the zoo three times this year.（就划线部分提问）→

2. hardly几乎不，简直不

There are hardly any students in the classroom.几乎没有学生在教室里。

   There is hardly a cloud in the sky. 天空中几乎没有云。

【区别】hardly与hard 

① hardly不是hard加后辍所构成的，它是副词，常与can或any连用。

② hard可用作形容词，意思为“艰难的，困难的，勤奋的”可等同于“difficult”。它也可用作副词，意思是“努力地，刻苦地，猛烈地”。

典型例题：

1) 学好英语不难。（翻译成英语）→                         

2) We must         (努力学习).

重点短语:

1．go skateboarding (去滑滑板) go swimming(去游泳) go shopping(去购物) go fishing(去钓鱼)   go后面加上动词的-ing形式，表示去干什么事，中间无其它词。

2． go to the movies去看电影go to the park去公园 go to the zoo去动物园 

go to the mountains去爬山  注意这些短语中都有the

3．once a week一周一次 twice a month一月两次 twice or three times a year一年两三次 three or four times a week 一周三四次    注意once 与twice的写法

4．as for至于 of course当然 come home from school 放学回家  想想下班回家应该怎么学呢？ 对了，come home from work

5．get good grades 取得好的成绩       be active很积极；很活跃 

He is pretty/very active.      He is an active boy. 

6．look after照顾，照看       try to do sth.尽量做……；

I try to eat junk food once a month. 我尽量每个月吃一次垃圾食品。

7．help sb. (to) do sth.帮助某人干某事   help sb. with sth. 

My brother helps me (to) study English every day. = My brother helps me with my English.
