Everyone has ever received some gifts so far. Maybe they were from your parents, friends or classmates. I have received a really great gift from my father when I was a child. It’s a ticket to a concert. And I listened to the concert with my father. I enjoyed the piano voice and became more and more excited. At that time I knew that I had fallen in love with the piano music. I really like that concert. 

The magical music has encouraged me for a long time. However, I have never gone to a concert again. But I still remember the first concert in my life.

A lucky person

Speaking of a lucky person, I myself come into my mind. I have a happy family, which not only gives me plenty of love, but also teaches me how to love and to be thankful. Wherever I am and whatever I have experienced, my parents are the ones who always stand by my side. Besides, I have a lot of friends, who can share happiness and sorrow with me. When I feel depressed, they always give me comfort and encouragement. I am grateful for all that I have and feel that I am very lucky. In my opinion, everyone can be a lucky person if they have a sense of gratitude and the feeling of optimism.

The person I respect most

I respect my uncle most because he is very kind and patient. He is never angry with anyone.

Once I went to his house, there was a beautiful piece of china on the shelf. He liked collecting china and that one is his favourite. I also liked china and I picked it up. But suddenly it fell from my hand and it was broken. I thought he would be angry with me. But he didn’t. he just said: That’s all right. And he even sent me a piece of beautiful china.

I respect my uncle of his kindness. I have learnt that we should always be kind to others.

四   我的日常生活

 My daily life

I get up at six every day. I dress myself quickly and have breakfast at half past six. After breakfast I go to school.

I have four lessons in the morning and three in the afternoon. I study hard and always help my classmates with their lessons. I have lunch at school. School is over at five. 

After supper I read newspapers or watch TV for half an hour. I prepare my lessons between half past seven and nine. I go to bed at nine.

The above is a brief account of my daily life on weekdays. I don’t have lessons on Sundays. I usually review my lessons in the morning and go to see a film in the afternoon.

My favourite cartoon character

Hi, everyone. Today I will take about my favourite cartoon character. His name is Doraemon. He was born on 3 September,2112. But he got to the modern world by magic machine. Now he is living in a boy’s home and making friends with the boy called Daxiong, but the boy always meets problems. But Doraemon will help him in time. With the help of Doraemon, the boy can come over the difficult things well. But sometimes, he makes the things worse. He loves Dousha Cake very much and he will hide it away when he sees the mouse, because he hates the mouse very much. When he can’t eat his favourite food, he will become very angry.

I like Doraemon very much. Because he is very lovely and he always makes me happy.

My summer holiday plan

I like the summer holiday so much. I look forward to summer holiday every year. I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing basketball is always my favourite, so some of my classmates and I will form a small team and play basketball together. Sometimes we may have a match against some other teams and I do enjoy the feeling when we win the game.

If you ask me what my favourtie summer holiday will be like, travelling around is the only answer. I hope that one day I could meet different people and visit different places of interest.

I wish I could have two long holidays in a year. What about you?

七  我的生日聚会

My birthday party

My birthday was on 20 July. I held a very interesting birthday party on that day. I invited all my best friends to take part in my birthday party.

I got many presents that day. One of my best friends, Peter gave me a beautiful doll. My little sister gave me a big cake. My friend Kitty bought me a blue pen. I like the doll best because it is cute and beautiful.

Then we sang songs and ate the cake together. The cake was very delicious. I liked it very much. I had an unforgettable birthday, because it was full of fun. 

八    An unforgettable activity

I once took part in an English club. People there all talked in English, I was shy at first, and made many mistakes. But people didn’t laugh at me. They just gave me courage. It was unforgettable because I made a great progress. I was no longer afraid to make a mistake. Now, I am confident and I believe myself. It was really an unforgettable activity.

九    If I have a lot of money 

If I have a lot of money, I’ll buy a big house for my parents. I hope they can live a more comfortable life.

If I have a lot of money, I will plant more trees and flowers in our city. On the one hand, it can make our city more beautiful. On the other hand, it can improve our environment.

If I have a lot of money, I will give some to charities and help those poor children who can’t go to school. I’ll be very happy when I see them studying in bright classrooms.

十    Students’ life in 50 years
