第一课时
Teaching aims：1. Let’s chant
2.the important words and sentences :When is your birthday? My birthday is…？
The difficult points: “When is your birthday? My birthday is…？”
preparation：ppt、calendar、word cards and tape。
Teaching process：
Step 1.Warming up
a. Greeting.
b.Show the ppt，” let’s chant”。
c.ask and answer to review the sentences.
What’s the weather like today?
What’s the season now?
How many seasons are there in a year?
Step 2.Presentation & Practice
a. T: What’s your favorite season?
S: My favorite season is ….

b. T: My favorite season is winter, because my birthday is in January.Then ask another students，“When is your birthday?”
c. use the ppt to show the each words,then read after the tape.
d. 按照月份单词书写的规律，拼写相同的部分强调指出，注意January,February的发音。
e. 出示课件，呈现12个月份的缩略形式，让学生仔细观察，并总结其中的规律。强调月份单词书写时首字母一定要大写。
f. 再出示单词卡片，快速领、操练，然后将这些单词卡片贴在黑板上，为下面环节的游戏做准备。
Step 3.Extension & Consolidation
a. 利用贴在黑板上的单词卡片进行瞬间记忆的游戏，快速的取下一张卡片，让学生说出是哪个月份，待学生答对后贴回原处。
b. 教师问学生，When is your birthday?引导学生回答，My birthday is in ….然后教师在相应的月份单词卡上做一个标记。
c. Write down：When is your birthday?
My birthday is in ….
d. When is your birthday? My birthday is in ….
e. Pair work. Ask some of them to present.
f. let’s try “listen and write the months.”
g. sing the song“When is your birthday?”
h. ppt: do the exercises.
i. ppt: Good to know.
Step 4.Homework
a. 教师对本课时内容进行归纳总结。
b. 制作家庭成员生日表，用课件展示一下具体的做法。

课后反思
a.本节课的内容是学生特别感兴趣的知识，学生通过上节课学习了一年的四个季节，教师及时引导学生来学习本节课的新知识一年的十二个月份，同学们通过教师和课件的教授学习了十二个月份，由于这些单词较难，学生整体掌握不是很好，特别是January， February的发音不够准确，我在课堂上给予了正确的纠正。
b.在本节课中，学生不仅学习了十二个月份的单词，还学习了他们的缩略形式，我让同学们来找找他们之间有什么规律，学生们很快就发现了，除了May,June,July,其他月份的缩略形式都是他们原单词的前三个字母，还有右下角有个实心的圆点，而且所有月份的首字母一定要大写的，从这点可以发现学生们在学习中很注意观察，只有一直保持这样的学习态度，我相信他们一定能学到更多的知识的。
c.学生们学习了十二个月份，我又引出了“When is your birthday? My birthday is in ….”同学们通过老师及学生之间的提问，了解他们的生日在什么时间，这时的课堂气氛很活跃，同学们对彼此的生日月份都很好奇，大家都积极的操练对话，进而巩固了新学的月份单词。
d.这节课我始终是以激发学生的学习动机和兴趣为宗旨，密切联系学生的实际生活，让同学们自己动手制作家庭成员生日表，使孩子们在轻松快乐的气氛中学习英语，从而达到“做中学，唱中学，玩中学”的目的，不仅培养他们用英语进行交流打下坚实的基础，还引导学生在学习中反思，在反思中学习，有效地增进他们的自我评价意识，以利于学生的终身学习和发展。下载本文
