Walking down our memory lanes, there is always someone impressing us most,even more importantly, he or she may influence our life. The following I will share my story with you by my speech-A person who has influenced my life.
Deeply rooted in my in my mind is that first impression she left on me when I first attended her class.She was not tall,but she had a beautiful voice and a sweet smile.Everybody was touched by her sincerity and kindness in her eyes.I fell in love with English before I I knew it .Nevertheless,I didn’t practise oral English until I came to this college.I was too shy to open my mouth.Every time she asked us to make a dialogue or do a role-play,I was eager to have a try,but I dare not.She seemed to have known I was in a dilemma.So one day she came near my side ,said quietly,“Rebecca,just have a try ,I believe you can do a good job!”Hearing her encouraging words, I was motivated.So I decided to stand up and act out my dialogue.Surprisingly, my dialogue was rewarded with loud applause.It seemed as if I had overcome my own shyness and gained success! I was so happy and excited.From then on,I was always the first student to take an active part in her oral class.and of course I made great progress in English and I got the second place in the final exam.I was really grateful for her,without her encouragement,I wouln’t have made regained confidence and courage.She gave me what I needed, and it was her encouraging words deeply influenced my attitude towards my future life.
In my eyes,she is not only my English teacher,but also a kind mother,because she cared about me just like my own mother.One day I was attending her class when I had a nosebleeding.My deskmate was too scared to do anything.It was she-my Enlish teacher who saw it ,and rushed me to the school clinic.She was very worried about me and urged me to have a good rest. I can’t never express my thanks to her too much.
Gone are the days when we shared our happiness and sorrow together.She has no longer taught me,but I can’t stop missing her.Whenever I think of her,I look at her photo on which she was always wearing a sweet smile.Perhaps I’ll never meet her again.The only thing I can give her is my best wishes .I wish my dear teacher happiness,good health and good luck.And I also want to say to her:Thank you ,my teacher,I love you!
